This detailed technical engraving of the Battleship "H.M.S. Warspite " has
been diamond engraved into black polished aluminium. The profile line drawing
has taken many hours of digitising by our team of experienced designers.

Mounted onto a 9" x 7" verneered plinth it is easily fitted to the wall
with the wall hanging slot.

HMS Warspite.

Launched in 1915, the HMS Warspite is one of the most famous Royal Navy ships of the twentieth century. A Queen Elizabeth class battleship (the others were Barham, Malaya, Queen Elizabeth, and Valiant) she saw extensive action in both World Wars.

Best known for the part she played in the Battle of Jutland, on the 31st May 1916 the British and German Fleets engaged inthe biggest surface battle ever, off the Danish penninsula, Jutland.

The "QEs" were the first "fast battleships". They were well designed, armed with  excellent
15" main guns, and in general represented the state-of-the-battleship-art in 1915.
